The fascination of buses
Firmly rooted in the Swabian town of Langenau near Ulm and at home on the roads of Germany and Europe. With a diverse fleet of coaches for a wide variety of people, occasions and destinations. Over 35 years ago, company founder Andreas Schröder was so passionate about coaches that he founded his own travel company. The fleet grew steadily. A close cooperation developed with the renowned bus manufacturer Setra in neighboring Neu-Ulm.
In 2004, Schröder built a modern travel center in Langenau for customer service, travel coordination, administration and technical monitoring of the vehicles. Bus drivers can stay overnight here in their own apartments before or after an assignment, and many also live directly in Langenau.
Everyone knows everyone in the family business in Langenau. The team has grown together into one big family. Clubs, schools and companies in the Ulm area hire coaches from Schröder Reisen for their excursions, group trips and events. When the long-distance coach market opened up in 2013, Andreas Schröder recognized the innovative potential of this type of travel and quickly took action. Today, Schröder Reisen is FlixBus’ largest partner for Central Europe, Eastern and Southern Germany. The Latin word “omnibus” means “for all”. Travel groups of all kinds can now find the right bus for every occasion in Schröder Reisen’s large fleet.
New bus base in Berlin
A long-cherished dream came true for Schröder Reisen in 2018 with the opening of a travel center in Berlin, the destination of choice for many city tourists. The Swabian coach company opened a branch in Spandau, giving it an even wider radius of action.
A location in the tranquil town of Langenau, next door to bus manufacturer Setra, and a Berlin location close to MAN Truck & Bus – the company is located at the source of technical innovation and is ideally positioned for the future in all directions.
With his son Dominic Schröder, the next generation of bus operators is now in the starting blocks at the Berlin branch. The 20-strong teams in Berlin and Langenau work closely together to ensure that every travel group reaches its destination safely and in an environmentally friendly way.

In our travel centers in Langenau near Ulm and in Berlin, we have around 20 employees each who are responsible for customer advice, route planning, personnel and finance, technical service, care and maintenance of our buses.
